SDC246: Anything but Black

Hello and welcome to the blog and a fun new challenge. It's beginning to look like Spring is truly in the air. Flowers are blooming, birds are chirping and trees are getting their wonderful leaves.
Which brings us to this week's challenge. Samantha Read is our hostess this week and she is challenging us to "Anything but Black" Here is what Samantha says about this challenge:

"The first thing I usually do after choosing which stamp I'm going to use is to reach for my black inkpad. So I'm challenging myself and you to make anything you fancy so long as there is no black ink or paint etc. Have fun!"

So let's see your best "non-black" creations. No black what-so-ever is going to be quite a challenge to most of us, as we usually run for that black ink pad, just like Samantha does.
Good Luck!!

Please remember you can use any stamps now for our challenge, but only one entry per person.  We will draw 2 random winners on the first week of our challenge in June from all those who played in the May challenges.

If you do not have a blog to link up to, please feel free to join our Stampotique page on Facebook here.  We have a photo album on there called SDC Challenge Photos that you can upload your photo there.  Once you have uploaded it there, go to your photo in that album and copy the URL to link on the Stampotique Designer's Challenge links.  You will not be eligible if you do not link up to our challenge site.

We are no longer accepting creations using digi stamps.  These will be deleted, we appreciate those that play with us each week and we welcome those using rubber or clear stamps.

*You MUST include the challenge # (which can be found at the Stampotique Designer's Challenge blog) behind your name

NOTE: Any entries not linking directly to your creation AND having the challeng # will be deleted and not eligible for prize.   For example if I'm entering it would look like this-

We ask that if you have comment verification turned on, that you would consider turning this on and doing comment moderation instead.

Please use Inlinkz below to link up your challenge.

**Change to Stampotique submission rules:  You will now have until the first challenge of the following month to submit your entries-we will only have one Inlinkz per month; so today marks the start of the challenges for May and it will run through the close of our last challenge for May which will be May 31st at 12:00 p.m. EST**

SDC242: Masculine

Hello and welcome back to our blog challenge this week and thanks for joining us for the challenge last week, that one was so fun.
The challenge this week is hosted by the wonderful Corrie and her challenge to us is "Masculine", here is what Corrie says about this challenge:
"I really struggle with cards for men. So this week I would like to see what you make when you need a masculine card."

We also have a few fun facts from our "Spotlight" designer Kathi Rerek

1. Do you have any other hobbies?
I love to read, bird watch, and drink wine. Usually not together.

2. If you were sent to a desert island, what five craft products (other than stamps, black ink, and paper) would you bring?
My Copics, Distress inks, paint/gesso, scissors/exacto, and my die cut machine (and dies).

3. Do you clean your stamps and stencils?
Yes and I clean up my table after each and every project.

4. Free for all including little facts, etc. about you.
I used to play violin. I love to sing and dance, but am not very good at either, so I do my singing and dancing in a car. I'm a rubber-band sharp shooter.

Thank you Kathi for being our spotlight designer this month, it was so great getting to know you better.
